Solar Panel System🛡️

A solar panel system also known as a photovoltaic system. Is a technologhy designed

to convert sunlight directly into usable electricity. The core component is the solar  

panel which contains multiple solar cells usually made of sillicon. When photons 

from the sun hit these cells they dislodge electrons creating a flow of direct current  

(DC) electricity through a process called the photovoltaic effect.


For use in home and businesses which primarily run on alternating current(AC) 

electricity an essential component called an inverter is used to convert the DC power

into AC power. Many modern systems are connected to the main electrical gird 

allowing excess electricity generated during the day to be exported for credits and

drawing power from the gird at night. For energy independence or backup power a

battery storage systemcan be added to save excessenergy for later use.

The long-term financial savings and minimal maintenance requirements make it an 

increasingly popular and sustainable alternative for power generation worldwide.
